One of our specialities is tsumami* kanzashi (hair ornaments). Each petal is cut and folded by hand, making every flower one-of-a-kind! Most are made of hand-dyed habotai silk.
*tsumami: meaning 'pinch', a traditional Japanese craft which makes flowers out of squares of fabric, similar to origami
If you have a specific color or style you'd like, custom orders are welcome! You can also specify whether you prefer a clip, comb, headband or hair prong, or even if you'd like a pin finding to wear your kanzashi as a brooch! Petal, leaf or bead dangles can be added to almost any design for an extra fee. Please note that if you have a very specific design in mind, a sketch or detailed description is helpful as modifying kanzashi after they're made is very difficult.
