Why Magpie?    As a jewellery addict and avid costumer, I've always loved fine detail and sparkly things.  Magpies love shiny things, so it seemed perfect.  Also, my main Magpie line is all about black punctuated with iridescent colour, just  like a magpie's feathers.

Policies:

I accept returns but will not refund shipping costs.

For custom orders, if you have a very specific design in mind, a sketch or detailed description is helpful as the nature of kanzashi construction makes it very difficult to make any modifications to a piece once completed.

Shipping:

I ship Expedited (with tracking) to Canada and the USA; packages to the USA usually take 5-10 business days.

For overseas orders you can choose between three shipping methods:

• Regular airmail (no tracking)
• Priority with tracking; this gets routed through the USA to save money, and usually takes 2-3 weeks.
• Express with tracking; this takes 4-8 business days to most locations.

I cannot be responsible for packages lost by the postal service if you choose regular airmail. I also cannot be responsible for any customs or import taxes imposed by your government on arrival of the package.

Most of my pieces are on a custom-order basis and therefore will take time to create before shipping out; please take this into account when ordering. If you have a deadline, please notify me when placing your order so I can accommodate your needs.

Payment Methods: I accept Paypal for the majority of my order processing. Paypal accepts the following types of payment:

• Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
• Payment deducted from your PayPal balance

I can accept other methods of payment depending on the situation, but will not ship out the item until the payment has cleared. Please inquire if you wish to pay using another method.
